| ALISA KRUTOVSKY Biography Alisa Krutovsky has an extensive background in public relations, media, marketing and advertising. As a freelancer, Alisa provided PR support to multiple media, startups, entertainment and non-profit organizations in New York, Los Angeles and Russia. Alisa also helped the entrepreneurs and local art community to design and create content for the websites and marketing materials. From early on in her college studies and professional career, Alisa wrote and contributed to online and print publications. She also worked as a DJ at the college radio station for four years, as well as acted in the theatre, introducing Russian drama to the American audience for five years. Alisa lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Moscow, Paris and Washington D.C. She is currently writing for Examiner's DC International Travel Examiner , Bonjour Paris, and Russian Women Magazine, and manages two blogs of her own – Alisa’s Perspectives and Uncensored Traveler, which bring more than 10,000 unique visitors. She is also a photographer; you can find her black and white photography work at AlisaKrutovsky.net. A graduate of multiple universities, such as Oregon State University, New York University, School of Visual Arts and University of California Los Angeles, Alisa started her professional career in radio sales and promotions, and then worked in advertising and production in Hollywood. In 2002, Alisa moved to New York to pursue Public Relations. Later she finished a journalist degree at the New York University and then University of California Los Angeles. Alisa has been working as a journalist at Voice of America in Washington, DC ever since. Some of her PR clients included Google, Lamborghini, Maserati, Bulgari, Vertu, Samsonite, Shell Oil, Vodafone, FedEx, Australian Trade Commission, The Chronicles of Spelborn, BuzzDash.com, BlackLine Systems, The Sheridan Group, ONE organization, African Medical and Research Foundation, The Washington News, author and environmentalist Bill McKibben, Library of America, Queensland and Moscow State Governments, and High School of Art & Design in New York.
